NEW COLORS!

I can't recall how many times I've been asked if we have a "mint" shade, and now I can finally say YES! I'm thrilled our supplier is now manufacturing new fabulous colors that we can offer our customers :)

Autumn Felt Leaf Garland Tutorial

This tutorial is for making a fun and easy autumn themed felt leaf garland. You can also use almost any other die cut we offer in our shop for a garland.

1) Buy our felt "Warm Autumn" Leaf Die Cuts HERE

2) Set out the felt leaf die cuts in the pattern you'd like

3) Stitch the leaves on a sewing machine with a basic stitch.
(space the leaf die cuts as close or far apart as you'd like)
* The thread in between each leaf will wind in on itself *

4) Continue stitching until all leaf die cuts have been
used or until you've reached your desired length.

5) Once your done you can go back and stitch a
loop of bakers twine or ribbon on the ends
for ease of use when hanging up.

A peek behind the scenes :)

These flowers form our "Lovely Pinks" Collection is one of our top selling items. I LOVE to assemble our roses and take my time to do it just right!  Below is a picture of my work station and the next image is an example of how to use the flowers (cream floral lace also found at our shop).

New and improved images.

Back when we first started carrying wool blend felt sheets for sell I snapped some quick images and called it good for the time being. I considered them to be "passable" but I had envisioned something better. Finally I had some free time and got the images I wanted. But of course Photoshop helped me out a bit as always :)

Project Idea - No. 1

There are a variety of different craft and fashion projects you can use our wool felt flowers for and that's what makes them so fun and exciting. Here is one example of how to use them as embellishments for a clutch purse. If you'd like to try making the bag yourself you can find the free pattern here: Free Clutch Pattern.

I used a medium weight unbleached cotton canvas for the outside and a cute stripped lightweight cotton print for the inside. Then I used eight of our wool blend felt flowers for embellishment and since we have so many shades to choose form it was no problem matching the colors closely to the pattern on the cotton print.
